• Procession of the Holy Blood
    Ascension day, May 14th
    For more than eight centuries, this procession commemorates the arrival in Bruges of a vial that reputedly contains a few drops of Jesus’ blood. The procession is a long religious parade with impressive floats and hundreds of background actors relating to biblical events.

  • ‘Party at the park’
    June 6th
    Annual city centre festival with southern inspired market, workshops and world music. Free entrance.
    Venue: Minnewater park, just a 5-minute walk from our B&B
  • Klinkende kroegen (‘Clinking pubs’)
    Every Wednesday in July and August
    Free live concerts in and around the pubs of Bruges, maximum 3 gigs or pubs per evening. Clinking pub pleasure guaranteed between 8pm and midnight.
  • Zandfeesten
    July 5th
    The ‘Zandfeesten’ are synonymous to the biggest antiques and bygones fair in Flanders. Both the passionate collector and the occasional tourist will definitely be tempted. What’s more enjoyable than a leisurely stroll through an antiques and bygones fair in the wonderful city of Bruges? A true hint for antique lovers!

  • Moods
    July 25th to August 7th
    Yearly music festival; the world-renowned historic city centre of Bruges serves as a truly unique location for all concerts. Moods! is an atmospheric festival with a mixture of both free and paying concerts.

  • The hinterland of Bruges: a number of cycling routes start near our B&B and we can provide you with cycling maps on request. If you wish to bring your own bike, it can be stored safely. For day trips, you can also order a lunch pack.
  • Damme, between Bruges and the North Sea, is a highly recommendable day trip. The lovely town of Damme has a big heart and likes to share its abundance. You can enjoy the flat low-lying polders, rows of waving poplars along the canal, indulge yourself with great food, take in the local architecture and visit interesting museums! Adding to this the true spirit of the legendary ‘Uilenspiegel’, a trick or two is never far off!
  • Knokke! What to do in Knokke? In one word: everything! From amusement and consumption over shopping and hopping, to the enjoyment of the vast space land and sea have to offer, whether you are an older or younger adult or child. Knokke suits all tastes.
